Training

Each year we run an online training programme which is aimed at HR professionals and those who may be involved in undertaking general HR related processes.

More about Training

The programme is designed to address a number of day-to-day HR issues that businesses may face as well as topical issues and common challenges. As part of this year's training programme we are running the following online events:

  • Managing stress, mental health and absences at work

  • Disability discrimination in the workplace

  • Terminating employment fairly

  • Equality and diversity in the workplace

  • Bullying and harassment in the workplace

Bespoke training for your business

Bespoke training for your business

We also have considerable experience in delivering bespoke training sessions to businesses across a range of different industry sectors. Our training sessions can be tailored so that they are aimed at staff of varying levels including:

  • Senior management level - to ensure that those at the top of organisations are aware of and equipped to manage the legal issues that may affect their operations;

  • Line manager level - to ensure that those who are involved in the day-to-day management of staff understand their people management responsibilities and are capable of carrying out important employment and HR related processes as well as understanding the importance of getting such processes right and the legal risks involved. Our training sessions for managers tend to be more interactive and pitched at a more practical level with less focus on the legal side of things;

  • HR teams - to help HR teams understand the legal framework and keep informed of this and generally to raise awareness of the higher level legal issues to be aware of to help them to appropriately support line managers in implementing and managing key processes.

We can provide a range of training, that is bespoke and tailored to your business needs, covering areas such as:

  • Equality and diversity in the workplace

  • Carrying out disciplinary and grievance investigations

  • Performance management

  • Absence management

  • Bullying and harassment in the workplace

  • Recruitment

  • Terminating employment fairly

  • Carrying out redundancies and restructures

  • Business immigration and right to work checks

  • Mock employment tribunals

  • Mock disciplinary and grievance investigations

  • Employment law and case law updates

If you would like any further information in relation to the training that we can deliver or would like training on another topic not listed above then please do not hesitate to contact us.
