Catherine Kennedy

Catherine has over 35 years' experience in commercial property transactions of all types. She leads our Housing & Regeneration (Property) team within the Forbes Housing Group, working closely with colleagues across other specialisms to provide our full service offering for our national client base of Social Housing clients. Catherine supports Registered Providers on projects of s106 units, golden-brick transactions with related funding, planning, environmental and construction elements. She is experienced in urban regeneration, major site assembly, estate re-configuration, public private partnerships, bulk stock transfer and charging projects. She and her team also service the complete property requirements of our education, local authority, charity and other public sector clients.

Catherine has worked in private practice throughout her career. She has also acted for institutional investors, the NHS, local authorities, other public bodies, residential and commercial developers on freehold and leasehold transactions and all ancillary documents. Catherine's wealth of experience informs the pragmatic advice she provides to all her clients, often at a strategic level, based on her extensive knowledge of the sectors in which our clients and their external partners operate.
